We enjoyed it very much and appreciate being so well taken care of. Peru is an amazing country. I would not hesitate to recommend Ancient Summit to anyone.
Our stay in the jungle though was fantastic, lots to see and do and our guides Robin and Daniel were excellent. In fact all the personnel at Posada were great, from the bartenders to the guest relations manager.
Our time in the Sacred Valley was magical and we LOVED Juan Carlos and Henry our driver. The lunch at your friends’ home was outstanding, best trout ever and the salads and farm-to-table fare was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our hosts and their home. What can we say about Machu Picchu? Simply magical. I am so glad we splurged on Sanctuary Lodge. It gave us access to Machu Picchu that 1st afternoon and then on day 2. The food was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, worth every penny.
We were lucky to be in Cusco for Halloween, so fun to see all the kids and people in the square that night. We enjoyed our tours there and the location of our hotel was perfect. Loved Inka Grill and Green’s.
In Puno they were celebrating their city’s anniversary so we saw a parade and ate at a great restaurant (Mojsa?). Our guide Guido was a funny happy guy. The floating islands were fun and I especially liked our hike on Taquille Island. We had great weather that day and it was so nice to be out on that island.
I am glad we chose to spend even that short time in Lima. The hotel location was great and we enjoyed Mira Flores. I think our time in Lima was just the right amount of time. Loved the Larcos Museum and the church with the catacombs.
Overall a wonderful trip. I appreciate your entire staffs’ effort in putting it all together for us. I normally like to plan trips myself but I’m so glad we turned that complex task over to you so we could just really relax and enjoy Peru without worries. Thank you so very very much…”
