Let’s start by saying this…..find the company that suits your needs to guide you. We used Nina Fogelman’s Ancient Summit, Inc. If you are looking for a less than custom, less than semi-luxury, big group, rigid schedule, high-spotted tour group, then don’t use Nina. Having lived in Peru for years and having many local friends and Peruvian family opens doors not typically known to most. Very special service indeed. We were not used to that as we choose the road less traveled most of the time. We have never had a true “guided tour” until now. I can’t imagine seeing the Sacred Valley, Cusco and the glorious wonder of Machu Picchu any other way. This was an immersion into the Peruvian culture and the Inca history, traditions and music that was indescribable. The personal touch was beyond compare.
